Terms & Services Agreement

These Terms & Services (“Agreement”) outline the policies, responsibilities, and expectations between
the Client (“you”) and NONTEXUAL Tattos & Art (“we,” “us,” “our”) regarding all tattoo
services performed. By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or receiving a tattoo, you agree to the following terms.
1. Eligibility for Tattoo Services
- You are at least 18 years old and can provide valid ID.
- You are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You do not have medical conditions that could affect tattooing (bloodborne diseases, heart issues, immune disorders, skin conditions, etc.).
- You understand it is your responsibility to disclose relevant medical or skin conditions.
We reserve the right to decline service for any reason related to safety or policy compliance.
2. Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments.
- Deposits apply to the final tattoo cost.
- Cancellations, no-shows, or reschedules made within 48 hours forfeit the deposit.
- Remaining payment is due at the time of service.
- No refunds are provided for completed tattoos.
3. Appointment Policies
- Arrive on time with proper hygiene.
- Give 48 hours' notice to reschedule.
- Skin must not be sunburned or irritated before your session.
- Arrivals 15+ minutes late may lose their appointment and deposit.
4. Artwork, Design & Revisions
- Tattoo designs remain the artist’s intellectual property.
- Minor revisions are allowed; major redesigns may require additional deposits.
- Client approves the final stencil and placement before tattooing begins.
- No design changes may be made once tattooing starts.
- All designs are custom - I do not copy other artist's work.
5. Risks & Acknowledgments
You acknowledge that tattooing involves needles and skin penetration. Risks may include:
- Infection
- Allergic reactions
- Scarring or blowouts
- Variations in healed appearance
- Fading over time
We follow all health codes, but no tattoo procedure is completely risk-free.
6. Health & Safety
- All equipment is single-use or properly sterilized.
- Workstations are sanitized between clients.
- Artists use gloves, barriers, and professional hygiene standards.
- You agree to follow all instructions given before, during, and after the tattoo.
7. Aftercare Responsibilities
Aftercare instructions are provided verbally and/or in writing. Proper aftercare is
your responsibility. Issues caused by improper care are not the responsibility
of the artist or studio.
8. No Refund Policy
Tattoos are permanent custom artwork. All payments are non-refundable, including deposits and session fees.
Dissatisfaction due to personal preference or healing outcomes outside our control is not grounds for a refund.
9. Photography & Social Media
You consent to photos of your tattoo being taken and possibly used for portfolios, social media, or marketing.
If you wish to opt out, notify your artist before the session begins.
10. Liability Waiver
By receiving a tattoo, you release the artist and studio from all liability related to the procedure,
healing complications, or adverse reactions. You accept full responsibility for any medical care required
afterward and waive any claims for damages or dissatisfaction.
11. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates studio policies, behaves disrespectfully, appears
impaired, or presents a safety concern.
12. Agreement
By booking an appointment or receiving a tattoo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all
terms listed in this Agreement.
